Since the completion of the human genome sequence in February 2001, genomics and drug discovery technologies have grown in importance in the fields of medicine, food and environment. The 7th Forum on Genomics and Drug Discovery to be held in February 2003 in Tokyo will focus on new technologies and will feature special lectures under the auspices of Science magazine. AAAS members in Japan will receive special invitations by e-mail.

This Forum has been held since 1998 to offer participants and exhibitors opportunities to share and exchange information. About 60 companies as well as 1300 researchers and business people will participate at the exhibition. This 7th Forum is expected to be the largest and most productive one so far.

To encourage researchers to learn about new technologies and to exchange information. Exhibitors can promote their technologies, services and products, while visitors can acquire latest information on genomics.
